For over 20 years, Erich has focused his energies on theatrical production and management, producing for Broadway Across America, Live Nation and Clear Channel Theatrical. He ran the Lyric Theatre on Broadway as General Manager on behalf of Live Nation from the early days of Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark (2010), and through the venue’s acquisition by Ambassador Theatre Group (2013), participating in ATG’s acquisitions that led to its expansion from one to seven venues in the United States, eventually as C.O.O. of ATG's New York operations. He led projects to restore and re-open Broadway’s historic Hudson Theatre (2017), Boston’s Colonial Theatre, as well as the renovation of the Lyric Theatre in advance of the Broadway debut of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child ( 2018), overseeing $50M+ in capital projects.
Erich founded the commercial production company VoiceChair Productions in 1999 (now Foundation Theatrical). Clients have included Blue Man Group, Mills Entertainment, AEG/ThemeSTAR, MML Worldwide (Magic Mike Live), Remarkable Entertainment, and Zerospace - an immersive art installation in NYC. Productions have toured domestically and internationally, including London, Edinburgh and Australia.

He leads from a philosophy that focuses on giving clients and creatives the tools and direction that they need to make the best decisions possible, and then getting out of the way to allow them to do what they do best. He supports those processes that allow creative teams, production personnel, and business resources to collaborate in an environment that gives their respective talents room to own the results of their work.

He sits on the boards of the New Ohio Theatre and is a past board chair of ASTEP (Artist’s Striving to End Poverty). He also participated on the External Advisory Board for the University of Michigan’s ISD Engineering Program.
Erich grew up in Birmingham, Michigan and holds a BFA from the University of Michigan’s Department of Theatre and Drama.
